Bodymind Transformational Coach

I guide clients to deep change and lasting transformation by working with both mindset and the nervous system.

My Approach

I work with people who want real, lasting change — not just superficial solutions and strategies.

Often what keeps us stuck isn’t a lack of insight or willpower. It’s that change challenges something deeper: how we see ourselves, how our nervous system has learned to stay safe, and the roles we’ve come to identify with. We can understand what needs to shift — and still feel unable to move.

Meaningful change rarely happens at the level of behaviour alone. It involves the whole person.

My approach is holistic and integrative. I’m trained as a somatic coach, which means we don’t work with mindset alone. We pay attention to what happens in the body — tension, breathing, impulses, activation or withdrawal — because the body often holds the patterns that thinking cannot resolve. When change is not only understood but physically experienced, it becomes more sustainable.

Alongside this embodied work, I draw from psychological and systemic coaching and explore the stories and assumptions shaping your life.

The aim isn’t self-optimisation. It’s coherence. When your thinking, embodied experience, and deeper values align, clarity emerges — and action feels grounded rather than forced.

Michael de la Bedoyere is an ICF level 2 certified Somatic Coach and a DCV-certified Systemic Coach, with further training in Anti-Burnout & Resilience Coaching, Jobcoaching, Neurodiversity in Coaching (ICF), Coaching Outdoors (ICF).

Are you ready to make a change?

How can I help?

You might come to me with a specific goal — a decision to make, a transition to navigate, a sense of being stuck.

I can help you:

  • Clarify what you truly want — beyond expectation or pressure

  • Understand the patterns that keep repeating in your life

  • Work through inner conflict and self-doubt

  • Navigate change without overwhelming your nervous system

  • Make decisions that feel grounded and aligned

  • Reconnect with a sense of direction and vitality

Sometimes the work is practical and focused. Sometimes it is deeper and more exploratory. Often it is both.

Because we include the body in the process, change is not just talked about — it is experienced

Whether you're starting out, in the midst of the adventure, or simply needing a bit of alignment on a specific topic, our work begins where you are today:

    The Crossroads

You’ve reached a point in your life where you want to make a change, but you don’t know where to begin. Maybe you’re feeling restless, dissatisfied or you’re wondering whether there could be more to life.

Is there life before death?” - Jon Kabatt Zinn

    In the Midst of Change

You’re shedding limiting beliefs and outdated identities or behaviors, as you try new ways of thinking and being. Alongside the potential and aliveness, you might be experiencing fear, doubt and resistance.

One day, in retrospect, the years of struggle will strike you as the most beautiful." - Sigmund Freud

    Fine-tuned Alignment

Life feels more harmonious, and your choices reflect your true self, but there are still areas waiting for attention, corners of your life yearning for clarity, growth, or deeper connection

Follow your bliss.” - Joseph Campbell

Widening Circles

I live my life in widening circles
that reach out across the world
I may not complete this last one
But I give myself to it.

I circle around God, the primordial tower.
I have been circling for thousands of years.
And still I don’t know: am I a falcon,
a storm, or a great song?

— Rainer Maria Rilke
